Tour Details

Day 1

Taipei – Taichung

The Preplanned tour and all the travelers will report at Bangalore International Airport,  as per the respective flight departure time to proceed to Taipei – a modern metropolis with Japanese colonial lanes, busy shopping streets and contemporary buildings.

Upon arrival at the airport, Tour Manager will guide all guests with airport formalities and then we drive to Taichung – Taiwan’s second largest city rich in history, heritage, art and natural landscapes.
Scheduled tour guests, joining from other Indian metro cities such as Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Delhi, etc., will travel independently as per their respective flight booked by travel consultant Upon arrival, our tour Manager will meet these guests at the airport and guide them with airport formalities and then we drive to Taichung – Taiwan’s second largest city rich in history, heritage, art and natural landscapes.
(Kindly note that the standard hotel check-in time is typically at 15:00 hrs onwards but may vary depending on the hotel's policy.)

In the evening we visit Fengjia Night Market – the largest night market in Taiwan.

Day 2

Taichung – Sun Moon Lake – Taipei

Today we visit Rainbow Village – one of the most colourful spots in Taiwan famous for its vibrantly painted houses and streets. Later we proceed to Sun moon Lake. Upon arrival, we take a cruise on the Sun Moon Lake and visit Wen Wu Temple. We also enjoy a ropeway ride to the top from where we get a bird’s eye view of the lake. In the evening, we proceed to Taipei – the capital city of Taiwan.

Day 3

Taipei – Yehliu – Jiufen – Pingxi – Taipei

Today we proceed to Yehliu Geopark – located in a Wanli district on northern coast of Taiwan this geo park is home to a number of unique rock formations caused by wind and sea. Here we see Queen’s Head – an iconic mushroom rock that resembles the profile of England’s Queen Elizabeth and other remarkable formations such as the Sea Candles, the Fairy Shoe, the Ginger Rocks, the Elephant Rock, the Ice Cream Rock, the Kissing Rock, and the Princess’ Head etc. Then we drive to Jiufen – a hillside village which flourished in the 1940s due to the gold mining industry. Here we appreciate the picturesque landscapes of the town. Further we proceed to Shifen Waterfall – situated in Pingxi district and widely-known as the “Little Niagara Falls” of Taiwan. We view the beautiful cascades of waterfall from viewing platform.

Day 4

Taipei

Today we explore Taipei city, we visit Taipei 101 – the world’s second tallest skyscraper to enjoy the amazing view from its observatory deck at 89th floor, Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall to see the hourly Changing of the Guards ceremony, followed by a visit to National Palace Museum which is famous for ancient Chinese artifacts and artworks.

Day 5

Taipei – Busan

Today we fly Busan – one of the largest port city in South Korea, known for its beaches, mountains and temples. Upon arrival, we visit Gamcheon Culture Village - the ‘Machu Picchu of Busan’. Gamcheon’s houses are all painted in different colours, the tiny streets and steep stairways of Gamcheon lead to amazing street art. Later we visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple – an Oceanside temple considered as country’s most unique place of worship.

Day 6

Busan – Gyeongju – Busan

Today we visit Gyeongju National Museum – a Museum without walls, followed by a visit to Seokguram Grotto – a man-made cave temple featuring a granite statue of Buddha that dates back to 751 AD. Later we stroll around Haeundae beach.
In the evening, we enjoy a boat ride along the coast of Busan.

Day 7

Busan – Seoul

Today we travel to Seoul by high speed railway [KTX]. Seoul is an economic, cultural and political heart of South Korea, which attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists every year due to its wide array of activities and attractions.
Upon arrival, we explore Seoul city, we visit Seoul Tower also known as Namsan Tower to get an amazing view of Seoul city. We pass by Chengwadae Sarangchae Palace and then visit Gyeongbokgung Palace – the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty here we visit National Palace Museum - magnificent collection of royal treasures and artifacts located. Later we visit National Folklore museum followed by visit to Bukchon Hanok Village – home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon dynasty

Day 8

Seoul – DMZ – Seoul

Today we visit an unusual tourist attraction ‘The Korean Demilitarized Zone’ (DMZ) on the border of South and North Korea. It’s a weapons-free buffer zone between North and South Korea, a 2-kilometer wide demilitarized zone on each side where we will visit Dorasan Peace Park, Dora Observatory and the third Infiltration Tunnel which was dug by the northern army to spy on southern part.
In the evening, we visit Myeongdong Market – one of the most vibrant and diverse market in Seoul. It has many local, international brands and department stores lined streets and alleys, selling everything from cosmetics, clothes, shoes to accessories.

Day 9

Seoul – Nami Island – Seoul

Today we proceed to Nami Island – a half-moon shaped river island located in Gangwon Province famous for its woodlands, riverside walks, and picturesque tree-lined lanes. Here we walk around Metasequoia Lane, we see General Nami's tomb, Ginko Tree Lane, Dodamsambong Garden, and Baekpungmilwon Maple Garden.
Then we visit, The Garden of Morning Calm – nestled against the splendid backdrop of Chungnyeongsan Mountain, this garden is a horticultural haven that offers twenty thematic gardens interwoven with well-kept grassy expanses, vibrant flower displays, and inviting nature trails.
Later we proceed back to Seoul.

Seoul – Departure
Breakfast at the hotel / resort and the guests will leave the group after the scheduled program.
