Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at the Baku International Airport our local representative will meet and greet the guests and they are transferred to the hotel for check-in. Then Baku Evening City Tour will start , overnight stay at Baku.
DAY 2: BAKU CITY TOUR

The tour starts in the morning(at agreed time). First, a driver meets the guests in the lobby of the hotel. Driver accompany tourists to the memorial places in Baku City.
• Tour in Old City Baku (Icherisheher)
The guests will be taken to the Old City – Historical monument of Baku. The Old City of Baku is protected with the Preservation walls that have remained since the 6th century. The guide introduces the Old City’s history to the guests while they are travelling. The historical places, such as Karvansaray, Maiden Tower, old labyrinth streets, mosques, and small souvenir shops are shown by the guide during the Old city tour.

Shirvanshah Palace
Here the guests visit Azerbaijani historical museum Shirvanshah Palace which is among the monuments within the Old City. In the mentioned museum tourists will enter the throne room, shah’s burial place, mosque, tomb, and shah’s bathroom.

Miniature Book Museum
The Baku Museum of Miniature Books is the only museum of miniature books in the world, settled in the old part of Baku, called Inner City. The museum started its operation on April 2, 2002. In 2015 the Museum of Miniature Books was presented the Certificate of the Guinness Book of Records as the largest private museum of miniature books.

Maiden Tower
The Maiden Tower (Azerbaijani: Qız qalası) is a 12th-century monument in the Old City, Baku, Azerbaijan. Along with the Shirvanshahs' Palace, dated to the 15th century, it forms a group of historic monuments listed in 2001 under the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments as cultural property, Category III. It is one of Azerbaijan's most distinctive national emblems, and is thus featured on Azerbaijani currency notes and official letterheads.
The Maiden Tower houses a museum, which presents the story of the historic evolution of Baku city. It also has a gift shop. The view from the roof takes in the alleys and minarets of the Old City, the Baku Boulevard, the house of Isa bek Hajinski and a wide vista of the Baku Bay. The Tower is covered by cloud of mysteries and legends which are rooted to the history and culture of Azerbaijan. Indeed, some epics became a subject for scenario for ballets and theatre's plays. The Maiden Tower (ballet) is a world-class Azerbaijani ballet created by Afrasiyab Badalbeyli in 1940 and ballet's remake was performed in 1999. Consequent to the receding of the sea shoreline of the Caspian Sea, a strip of land emerged. This land was developed between the 9th and 15th centuries, when the walls of the old city, the palace including the huge bastion of the Maiden Tower were built.

Highland Park, Alley of Martyrs
The Highland Park Baku is the highest point of the capital of Azerbaijan, from where a beautiful panorama of the city and the bay opens. People from Baku and tourists often come here to see Baku from a bird’s eye view, as well as just take a walk.
Name Highland Park received due to its location. The territory of the park zone is located on a hill, so from the observation platforms, a magnificent view of the nearby attractions opens Baku Boulevard, Baku Bay, the Shirvanshahs Palace, Old City of Baku and the Maiden’s Tower. The place called by local people as “Dagustu park” which means Upland Park.
Martyrs' Lane or Alley of Martyrs (Azerbaijani: ŞəhidlÉ™r Xiyabanı), formerly known as the Kirov Park, is a cemetery and memorial in Baku, Azerbaijan dedicated to those killed by the Soviet Army during Black January 1990 and in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War of 1988–1994.
• Heydar Aliyev Center
The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57,500 m2(619,000 sq ft) building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev(1923–2003), the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.

• Fire temple – Ateshgah
Ateshgah (Azerbaijani: Atəşgah), often called the “Fire Temple of Baku” is a castle-like religious temple in Surakhani town(in Suraxanı raion) a suburb in Baku, Azerbaijan. Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu, Sikh, and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Atash” (آتش) is the Persian word for fire the pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. It was abandoned in the late 19th century, probably due to the dwindling of the Indian population in the area.
• Burning mountain - Yanar Dag
Yanar Dag (Azerbaijani: Yanar DaÄŸ, meaning “burning mountain”) is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan (a country which itself is known as “the Land of Fire “). Flames jet into the air 3 meters (9.8 ft) from a thin, porous sandstone layer.

DAY 4: GABALA TOUR

• Reaching Gabala. Tufandag:
one of the longest teleferic of the world. Whether for skiing or just for memorable summer views of the Alpine scenery behind Gabala, jump aboard the Tufandag network of four cable cars.

Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourist Complex is located 4 kilometers far from Gabala city. The resort allows visitors to enjoy different extreme sports and tourism activities in the harmony with nature. Tufandag complex provides skiing in winter, going up to the mountains by cable cars in summer, mountain climbing by ATV quad bikes and other types of entertainment.
The ski season starting on December 15 continues till March 31 in Tufandag. During the 100-day winter season visitors can enjoy recreational activities such as skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, and snowboarding. The ski slopes of the Tufandag complex provide visitors with unforgettable moments with its a 1000-meter vertical downhill, 15-kilometer ski slopes and 4 rope lines. Here are green and blue ski slopes for beginners and moderate skiers, and red and black ski slopes for professional skiers. Along with the natural snow, there are snowmobiles that provide unforgettable skiing experience in snow-covered slopes throughout the season. It is possible to rent the skiing equipment of the skiing center inside the resort. It is also possible to take ski lessons from professional instructors.
• Nohurgol Lake: The lake is surrounded by a forest. You can walk around or sail on a boat.
Nohur Lake is one of the most popular and visited natural attractions of Gabala, Azerbaijan. Located about 5 km east of the Gabala City, the lake is surrounded by the forest and high mountains called Yumru, Goydag and Gulluburun. The lake covers 240 ha in total and has the maximum depth 24 meters.
• Yeddi Gozel Waterfall
Other major attractions are the exotic Yeddi Gozel(Seven beauties) waterfalls. This waterfall is near Ruskan village. The highest waterfall in the country – Michekhchadaur (53 meters in height) at the Demiraparanchay river gorge.
Yeddi Gozel waterfalls in Gabala, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Gabala, are 6 kilometers from Vandam village and 3 km from the main track over Puskan.

Here, water from various ravines forms a seven-step waterfall. Only two small waterfalls are visible below. To look at the other five waterfalls, you have to climb up the stairs, requires some physical strength. However, those who are going through this difficult path await a mysterious panorama. There is also a restaurant and a tea house. The waterfall is always dark and cool because it is located in a dense forest that is not affection by the sun’s rays.

DAY 5: GOBUSTAN TOUR

• Gobustan National Park:
Cave Paintings exploring the history of times up to 40.000 years.
Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art. The site also features the remains of inhabited caves, settlements and burials, all reflecting an intensive human use by the inhabitants of the area during the wet period that followed the last Ice Age, from the Upper Paleolithic to the Middle Ages. The site, which covers an area of 537 ha, is part of the larger protected Gobustan Reservation.
• Tour to Mud Volcanoes:
A whole family of ‘geologically flatulent’ little conical mounds that erupt with thick, cold, grey mud.
Azerbaijan takes the first position in the world in terms of the number of mud volcanoes. There are as many as 350 pieces(in the world about 800). The dirt there began to spill out of the ground in this particular place only 50 years ago. To the East of the Gobustan Museum is a group of active volcanoes Dashgil. You will be able to visit and climb up close to the craters of mud volcanoes and watch the bubbling of liquid clay. A beautiful landscape, as if you are on the planet Mars(scientists have drawn an analogy and the surface in the area of Gobustan is very similar to the surface of the planet Mars) and the constant mud gurgling creates a feeling of unearthly surface.

DAY7: ANANURI-GUDAURI-KAZBEGI

Drive to Kazbegi The route will take over Georgian military highway towards with Russian border. At first the guests will visit Ananuri Castle complex (XVI-XVII cc) that is the former residence of Aragvi Dukes. Complex towers and church are beautifully overlooking Jinvali reservoir. Stop in Ananuri for 30-45 minutes. Road will also pass through Georgian ski resort town – Gudauri. Guests will have a chance to take photos of picturesque landscapes from the viewing platform. By reaching Kazbegi we will change the transport to 4X4 to be able to drive to the holy trinity church Gergeti Sameba. Gergeti Sameba is the only cross-domed church in region (Khevi) and was built in 14th century. Church is located on the elevation and opens the fascinating view on Stepantsminda and Mkinvari peak in the sunny and cloudless weather.

DAY8: SIGHNAGHI TOUR

City tour in Sighnaghi- The medieval city, which is declared the city-museum currently, is located on the hill and looks over Alazani Valley. The city is still surrounded by the wall that was constructed in the end of the 18th century, during the reign of Erekle II. The 23 towers of the wall are named after nearly located villages. Each of them was bearing the fortification function. From Sighnaghi you can enjoy the fascinating views of Alazani Valley and Dagestan Mountains (North Caucasus).

DAY9 : MTSKHETA AND UPLISTSIKHE TOUR

Drive to Mtskheta- an old Capital of Georgia with its two UNESCO heritage sights Jvari and Svetitskhoveli.
Jvari monastery is located on the top of small hill opening the fascinating view of old capital of Georgia – city of Mtskheta. At this place, in the prehistoric epoch, the vanity was located. After declaring Christianity the state religion in Kartli, the cross (in Georgian – “Jvari”), the symbol of new religion has been erected there, and later, in V-VI AD, the Church has been built. It is the first cross-domed church in Georgia and is on the UNESCO List of the World Cultural Heritage.

Svetitskhoveli is one of the most sacred places in Georgia. The first wooden church in Georgia has been built here immediately upon declaring Christianity the state religion (337). Current impressive temple has been built in 11th century and it is biggest out of the churches built before 21st century in Georgia. According to the legend, the temple is built at the place where the shroud has been buried. During the centuries the temple has been seriously damaged and repaired several times. Currently it is on the UNESCO List of the World Cultural Heritage.
Explore Mtskheta and continue tour to Uplistsikhe- is the ancient city carven in the rock located 20km to the east from Gori. It was located on the historical Silk road. At the edge of II and I millenniums BC, one of the tribes living in Uplistsikhe territory used and arranged the natural caves existing here.

In the VI-V centuries BC it was one of the most important cultural-political centers of Shida Kartli and from II century BC it becomes the typical Hellenistic town. Uplistsikhe was the important trading center till 12th century AD. The reminders of the town built on the bank of Mtkvari River still retaining the sights of Hellenistic epoch, make the unforgettable impression on the visitors.

DAY10: TBILISI CITY TOUR

Start city tour in Old city - the capital of Georgia, is situated in the Eastern Georgia. Tbilisi has been the capital of Georgia since the 5th century AD. Its foundations have been laid by Vakhtang Gorgasali, a king of Kartli. A legend relates the foundation of Tbilisi with Sulphur springs existing on its territory. According to a legend, Tbilisi has been an important town alongside the Silk Road. Westbound caravans from the East used to gather here, which carried Oriental and Occidental cultures. Since its very foundation, Tbilisi has been sort of a conglomerate of European and Asian cultures.
Metekhi
Many events of the history of Tbilisi are related to the Metekhi Plateau and the Virgin Mary Church atop. A legend credits King Vakhtang Gorgasali with founding a church here. The religious tradition,
however, maintains that the first church was built here in the 7th century after the body of Saint Shushaniki (a Christian martyr) was interred here from Tsurtavi.
Abanotubani
“District of baths” is the oldest part of Tbilisi. Baths built in the 17th – 18th centuries have been preserved there and function to this day. Their utmost merit is so-called “hot without fire” Sulphur springs. Baths have existed on this territory already in the 27th -1st centuries BC. At different times the famous baths of Tbilisi have been visited by renowned European and Asian writers, poets, and even kings. Tbilisi baths represent an example of Islamic architecture.
Narikala by Cable car – please note, always depends the weather
The old citadel of the town, main fortress or Kala, has been called Narikala since the end of the 18th century.
Sioni Cathedral
One of the oldest churches in Tbilisi, the foundations of which were laid by Vakhtang Gorgasali. The church has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, adopting its final appearance in 1657, although its restoration took place afterwards on several occasions. It is named after Virgin Mary and is home to one of the greatest relics of Georgia – the cross of St. Nino, baptizer of Georgians.
Sameba
Holy Trinity church (Tbilisi Tsminda Sameba cathedral) was built in 2004 and till now is the highest church in Georgia (101 m). Sameba’s golden dome is seen from any point of downtown. Sameba complex includes the residence of Patriarch, monastery and technology school. The cathedral has very modern design and the architecture is different from old traditions. Holy trinity church is considered as one of the must-see sights of Georgia
